XINLUDA’s XD8255-2 is a 40-pin DIP Interface-I/O Expander with RoHS compliance. It is used to expand the number of I/O ports available to the microcontroller or system processor. Its features include 8-bit I/O, easy interface for multiplexers and latches, four ports of 8-bit I/O, programming for port configuration, interruption input, read/write logic, and bi-directional data transfer capability. It offers high-speed data transfer support between the microcontroller/ processor and the external devices. The XD8255-2 is suitable for applications such as consumer electronics, industrial control and automation, and medical devices.
