The 2RM400L-8 with Discharge Tubes is a 4-pin SMD (Surface Mount Device) manufactured by Yageo. It is a Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) that is RoHS compliant and part of the TSS (Transient Surge Suppressors) series. The 2RM400L-8 is designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from high voltage transients such as Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and EMI/RFI noise. It has a peak voltage rating of 400V, and a max. series resistance of 8O. The GDT also includes a surge rating of 1.5kA to 2.5kA when mounted on an appropriate PCB. Moreover, the GDT has a response time of less than 100ns and a maximum leakage current of 2mA.
