The 2RP090L-8 is an axial Gas Discharge Tube (GDT), or spark gap, manufactured by Yageo. It is made from RoHS-compliant materials and is used as a lightning and transient voltage protection device designed for applications requiring fast response to overvoltage conditions. The 2RP090L-8 is rated for a voltage of 90V and a continuous current of 25mA. This GDT can help protect sensitive electronic equipment from abrupt voltage spikes, such as those caused by EMP or electrostatic discharge.
