The Yageo 3RP090L-8, with Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs), is a Through Hole RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) component specifically designed for overvoltage protection. The GDTs are designed to safely and quickly respond to any transient voltage surges in order to protect sensitive circuits from damage or destruction. The device is able to detect overvoltage of up to 500V and offers high operating temperatures (up to 125 degrees Celsius). It has an insulation resistance of 100 MO and a contact resistance of 10 mO. Additionally, the 3RP090L-8 helps reduce unwanted electromagnetic interference (EMI). This component is lead-free (Pb-free) meeting the RoHS requirements and is UL approved for safety and durability.
