The BK12002502 with Discharge Tubes (GDT/TSS) Axial RoHS manufactured by Yageo is a two-element device that provides protection from voltage transients. This device measures 20 mm x 20 mm and is designed to fit into standard mounting hole sizes, making them ideal for applications requiring a high level of protection. The device has been designed to reduce the incoming surge current as low as possible, while passing the desired signal current. The device has an axial RoHS which is RoHS compliant and helps in preventing harmful substances from entering the environment by eliminating lead, cadmium as well as other hazardous materials from products. The device also features two discharge tubes (GDT/TSS) which further add to the protection by using a reliably controlled spark impulse to divert excess voltage away from sensitive electronic components. The product comes with an operational voltage of 1200 VAC which meets with IEC 61000-4-5 requirements.
