It is a surface-mount device (SMD/SMT) with a nominal capacitance of 470 nanofarads (nF) and a rated voltage of 250 volts (V). The capacitor has an X7R temperature coefficient, meaning that within its temperature range, the capacitance value will remain relatively stable, as opposed to ceramic disc capacitors with a Z5U or similar coefficient, which decrease drastically with increasing temperature. The capacitance and voltage ratings have a tolerance of 10%, meaning that the capacitor will have an actual capacitance that is within 10% of its nominal value.
