The Yangjie River, located in the Jianghuai Plain, is the largest branch of the Huanghe River, running through Jiangsu Province and Anhui Province. The section of the Yangjie River from Bei Yuan Du and Qun Peng down to Hua Yuan Du, covers a distance of about 175km, and is known as the FR204 section of the Yangjie River. This section is an important tributary to the downstream Huanghe River, and plays an important role in regulating and protecting the water resources of the lower reaches of the Huanghe. The green vegetation in the upper part of this section is abundant, providing a favorable environment and habitat for aquatic life. From the middle and lower reaches, the river becomes wider with large sandbars between which small channels form, providing avenues for small boats to move up and down the river. Along the banks of the Yangjie River, there are many famous tourist sites such as the famous Qiyun Mountain, Mt. Qushui, and Xihai Great Wall. Therefore, this section of the river is an important waterway for the economic development and tourism in the region.
