GBU1006 is a several stage three-dimensional optoelectronic integrated circuit (3D-OEIC) from Yangjie Technology Co. It features an ultra-high resolution optical imaging system enabled by its unique “half-beam-splitting” architecture. The device consists of four main components: a 128 x 128 single photodiode array, a cross-point ultra-thin active layer, a laser diode, and a array of dual-stage vertical cavity emitting lasers (VCLs) for continuous red, green, and blue light. The device has a power consumption of <1 mW and a field of view of more than 100 degrees. It can detect motion with high accuracy and sensitivity, and supports a variety of applications including tracking, object detection, image recognition, gesture recognition and VR/AR.
