HER203 Yangjie

HER203 is an integrated course in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Yangjie University. It is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of circuit theory and its applications in modern engineering. The course is divided into three distinct sections: analysis, design and implementation of circuits. In the analysis section, students explore basic circuit analysis concepts such as resistors, capacitors and inductors. They learn to use various numerical techniques to analyze and troubleshoot circuits, and use the models they develop to calculate voltage, current, power and resistance of simple circuits. In the design section, students gain experience designing, analyzing and simulating basic electronic circuits with potential applications. Finally, in the implementation section, students learn to test and troubleshoot their designs using hardware, microcontrollers and measurement equipment. The course culminates in a project where students apply the concepts to design and implement a working circuit.
