HS2A Yangjie

River The Yangjie River is a large river in east-central China. The Yangjie River is part of the Huaihe River Basin. The Yangjie River is the second largest tributary of the Huaihe River. It flows through the provinces of Anhui and Jiangsu and empties into the Huaihe River at the city of Bozhou. The middle and lower reaches of the Yangjie River are referred to as the Huang - Huai - Hai Plain (HHH), which is one of the most important agricultural areas in China. The HS2A sub-basin of the Yangjie River is located in the western part of Anhui Province and eastern part of Jiangsu Province. It covers an area of 29,730 square kilometers and has a total length of 543 kilometers. It is connected to the main river by the Zhoumujiang in the east and the Juchuanjiang in the west. The basin is characterized by a hilly topography and numerous lakes and ponds. The HS2A Sub-Basin of the Yangjie River is a major agricultural area and its tributaries, such as the Jiur River and Yanchengjiang, are important for irrigation.
