The Z8S18010VSG00TR is part of the ZiLOG Z8 family of microcontrollers. It is a single-chip, 8-bit processor with a reduced instruction set computer (RISC) architecture. It has 16 kilobytes of on-board RAM and up to 4.096 kilobytes of on-chip Flash program memory. It is also compatible with a wide range of external memory and peripherals such as EEPROM memory, serial ports, timers, A/D and D/A converters, and analog comparators. This device also comes with built-in LCD controller, pulse-width modulation module, I/O ports, an interrupt controller, and on-chip power-on reset and brown-out reset circuitry. Additionally, it has an enhanced instruction set specifically designed for fast and efficient control of peripheral devices.
