SolutionsThe SKY85712-21 RF Front End Module (FEM) from Skyworks Solutions is an integrated radio frequency (RF) front end for 802.11ac WiFi applications up to 5GHz. This FEM offers up to 21dBm of output power with a maximum 5V supply voltage. It is packaged in a 3.0 x 3.0 mm QFN form factor and uses four external components. The device integrates a negative resistance power amplifier (NRPA), an output power detector (OPD), and additional filtering and matching components to achieve optimal performance and long term reliability. This FEM also offers excellent linearity, power consumption, and overall efficiency.
