LED bulbs and modules are energy efficient lighting solutions that use light-emitting diodes (LEDs). LEDs replace traditional incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and offer many advantages over other lighting solutions, including better cooling efficiency, lower power consumption and longer lifespan. Instead of using glass tubes, LEDs are made from semi-conductor material and can be used as modules — clusters of multiple LEDs connected in an array to create a larger beam of light. LEDs can also be used in combination with other light sources such as halogen lights. LEDs are well suited for a variety of applications, from indoor lights to automotive lighting and from street lamps to traffic signals.
