About Network Controller & Processor ICs
Network Controller & Processor ICs
Network controller ICs are integrated circuits (ICs) designed to control, monitor, and manage the operation of a network connection. They are used in a variety of settings, including in 802.11 wireless communication, Ethernet networks, and mobile telecom networks. The network controller ICs are often the brains behind networking devices such as routers, optoelectronic modems, and Wi-Fi access points.Processor ICs, on the other hand, are integrated circuits designed to run a computer’s core parts. The processor IC is responsible for interpreting instructions written in a computer program and performing the calculations and logic required to execute them. Processor ICs also provide the main computing power for computers and other electronic devices, often referred to as microprocessors. Prominent examples include ARM processors, Intel processors, and Apple processors.
