Originally called Calgreg Electronics, Cooliance was founded in 1984 as a manufacturer of heat sinks and fans to the electronics industry. In 2003, Cooliance developed an innovative method of attaching a heat sink to a BGA chip—the Smart-CLIP™. Cooliance offers a broad range of thermal solution products including pin-fin heat sinks for LED lighting, Smart-CLIP™ BGA heat sinks, precision forged heat sinks, heat pipes, polymer-based heat sinks, heat sinks for servers/processors, fans and fan trays.
