EDL Lighting is one of the UKs leading independent manufacturers and suppliers of medical, industrial and commercial lighting. EDL Lighting was originally founded in 1922 as a lighting and cable support manufacturer. In 1989 the lighting and cable support divisions were split into two separate companies: EDL Industries Ltd and EDL Cable Supports Ltd. The lighting division of the business was purchased in 1999 by it’s long-term management and EDL Lighting Ltd, taking it’s original name and the one it goes by today, was formed.
