The ADAM-4017-D2E is a 2-channel analog input module from Advantech. It is part of their ADAM-4000 I/O series, a line of I/O modules designed for process automation, machine automation and distributed control applications. The module provides high precision, low noise signal acquisition with a 0.5% full-scale accuracy and a 2Vpp signal-to-noise ratio. It features isolated analog inputs, isolated power supply and isolated signal grounds for maximum noise immunity. The module also supports a variety of digital functions, including limit alarms, open circuit detect, data log, and much more. The module comes in a slim, 8-bit wide DIN-rail mount package, making it easy to install in tight places. The module is also available with two additional configuration options - an analog scaling function to convert input signals from one physical units to another, and a linearization function to provide more accuracy for non-linear inputs.
