The AD5934YRSZ-REEL7 is a specialized 12-bit, 250 ksps data acquisition ADC/DAC, impedance converter manufactured by the world-leader in linear, mixed-signal and digital signal processing (DSP) integrated circuits, Analog Devices. This device is a precision impedance converte designed for accurate and reliable online measurements of dynamic material properties and monitoring of electrochemical processes. It features an on-board programmable frequency generator that facilitates fast, simultaneous, swept-frequency measurement of series in parallel combinations of resistors and capacitors. Furthermore, it includes an on-chip 12-bit SAR ADC to convert the in-phase and quadrature voltage signals generated by the impedance converter into a 12-bit digital data stream. The AD5934YRSZ-REEL7 also includes an on-chip programmable digital to analog converter for direct control of the on-chip voltage-controlled oscillator. This device offers a low power consumption of only 11 mW for continuous operation and is optimized for applications where size is a constraint.
