The Analog Devices AD5941BCPZ is a Data Acquisition (Daq) Analog Front End (AFE) designed for bio-impedance and electrochemical applications. It integrates a low-noise, wide bandwidth, sigma-delta Analog to Digital Converter (ADC), a digital filter, and a high efficiency, low-noise Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) with a Calibration Engine (CE). The digital filter enables high-resolution measurements as well as noise-free operation over a wide dynamic range. The DAC provides high output impedance to reduce sampling artifacts and thereby achieve high-resolution results. Furthermore, the CE compensates for common mode voltage drifts and other nonlinearities for consistent electrochemical measurements. The AD5941BCPZ also features a low-power standby mode and an on-chip programmable clock. This product is particularly suitable for a variety of medical, industrial, and consumer applications including chemical analysis, biometric sensing, health monitoring, and portable electronics.
