The ADE7880ACPZ-RL is a specialized polyphase multifunction energy metering integrated circuit (IC) produced by Analog Devices. This IC is capable of accurately measuring active, reactive, and apparent power for both single-phase and three-phase power systems. It is fully programmable for use in a wide variety of energy, monitoring, and control applications. It offers an integrated ADC/DAC system for single and multi-sensor setups, as well as a sophisticated energy metering algorithm optimized for energy monitoring tasks. Additionally, it features dual internal Delta-Sigma ADCs with a resolution of 24-bit, an integrated temperature sensor for temperature compensation to improve accuracy, and a peak-detection circuit capable of handling high input power events up to 100A.
