High Stability, Isolated Error Amplifier Enhanced Product ADuM4190-EP FEATURES GENERAL DESCRIPTION 1 Stable over time and temperature The ADuM4190-EP is an isolated error amplifier based on 0.5% initial error accuracy Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler technology. The ADuM4190-EP 1% accuracy error over the full temperature range is ideal for linear feedback power supplies. The primary side Compatible with Type II or Type III compensation networks controllers of the ADuM4190-EP enable improvements in Reference output voltage: 1.225 V transient response, power density, and stability as compared to Compatible with Distributed-power Open Standards Alliance commonly used optocoupler and shunt regulator solutions. (DOSA) Unlike optocoupler-based solutions, which have an uncertain Low power operation: <7 mA total current transfer ratio over lifetime and at high temperatures, the Wide voltage supply range: 3.0 V to 20 V (V and V ) DD1 DD2 ADuM4190-EP transfer function does not change over its lifetime Output 3 dB bandwidth: 400 kHz typical and is stable over a wide temperature range of 55C to +125C. Isolation voltage: 5000 V rms reinforced Included in the ADuM4190-EP is a wideband operational Safety and regulatory approvals amplifier for a variety of commonly used power supply loop UL recognition: 5000 V rms for 1 minute per UL 1577 compensation techniques. The ADuM4190-EP is fast enough to CSA Component Acceptance Notice 5A allow a feedback loop to react to fast transient conditions and VDE certificate of conformity overcurrent conditions. Also included is a high accuracy DIN V VDE V 0884-10 (VDE V 0884-10):2006-12 1.225 V reference to compare with the supply output setpoint. V = 849 V peak IORM The ADuM4190-EP is packaged in a wide body, 16-lead SOIC ENHANCED FEATURES package for a reinforced 5000 V rms isolation voltage rating. Supports defense and aerospace applications (AQEC standard) Additional application and technical information can be found Military temperature range (55C to +125C) in the ADuM4190 data sheet.
