SHUTDOWN CURRENT (A) LTC1382 5V Low Power RS232 Transceiver with Shutdown FEATURES DESCRIPTIO Operates from a Single 5V Supply The LTC 1382 is an ultra-low power 2-driver/2-receiver Low Supply Current: I = 220A RS232 transceiver that operates from a single 5V CC I = 0.2A in Shutdown Mode supply. The charge pump requires only four space- CC ESD Protection Over 10kV saving 0.1F capacitors. Uses Small Capacitors: 0.1F The transceiver operates in one of two modes, Normal Operates to 120kBaud and Shutdown. In the Normal mode, I is only 220A CC Output Overvoltage Does Not Force Current with the driver outputs unloaded. In the Shutdown Back into Supplies mode, the charge pump is turned off, the driver outputs RS232 I/O Lines Can Be Forced to 25V are forced into three-state, both receivers are off and Without Damage drops to 0.2A. I CC Pin Compatible with LT1180A The LTC1382 is fully compliant with all data rate and U overvoltage RS232 specifications.
