MAX1040/MAX1042/MAX1046/MAX1048 19-3294 Rev 3 3/08 10-Bit, Multichannel ADCs/DACs with FIFO, Temperature Sensing, and GPIO Ports General Description Features 10-Bit, 225ksps ADC The MAX1040/MAX1042/MAX1046/MAX1048 integrate a Analog Multiplexer with True-Differential multichannel, 10-bit, analog-to-digital converter (ADC) Track/Hold (T/H) and a quad, 10-bit, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) in a Eight Single-Ended Channels or Four single IC. The devices also include a temperature sensor Differential and configurable general-purpose I/O ports (GPIOs) with Channels (Unipolar or Bipolar) a 25MHz SPI-/QSPI-/MICROWIRE-compatible seri- (MAX1040/MAX1042) al interface. The ADC is available in a four or an eight Four Single-Ended Channels or Two Differential Channels (Unipolar or Bipolar) input-channel version. The four DAC outputs settle within (MAX1046/MAX1048) 2.0s, and the ADC has a 225ksps conversion rate.
