EQ and Output Preemphasis The MAX14986 features independent input equalization Compensates Up to 30in of Channel Losses with and output preemphasis. It enhances signal integrity at Deterministic Jitter: 23ps (max) Random Jitter: P-P the receiver by equalizing the signal at the input and 1.5ps (max) RMS establishing preemphasis at the output of the device.
