MAX301/MAX303/MAX305 19-0159 Rev 1 2/07 Precision, Dual, High-Speed Analog Switches General Description Features The MAX301/MAX303/MAX305 are precision, dual, high- Low On-Resistance < 22 Typical (35 Max) speed analog switches. The single-pole single-throw Guaranteed Matched On-Resistance Between (SPST) MAX301 and double-pole single-throw (DPST) Channels < 2 MAX305 dualswitches are normally open (NO). The sin- gle-pole double-throw (SPDT) MAX303 has two NO and Guaranteed Flat On-Resistance over Full Analog two normally closed (NC) poles. All three parts offer low Signal Range 3 Max on resistance (less than 35), guaranteed to match to Guaranteed Charge Injection < 15pC within 2 between channels and to remain flat over the full analog signal range (3max). They also offer low leak- Guaranteed Off-Channel Leakage < 6nA at +85C age (less than 250pA at +25C and less than 6nA at Single-Supply Operation (+10V to +30V) +85C) and fast switching (turn-on time less than 150ns Bipolar-Supply Operation (4.5V to 20V) and turn-off time less than 100ns). TTL-/CMOS-Logic Compatible The MAX301/MAX303/MAX305 are fabricated with Rail-to-Rail Analog Signal Handling Capability Maxims new improved silicon-gate process for high system accuracy. Design improvements guarantee Ordering Information extremely low charge injection (15pC) and low power consumption (35W). A 44V maximum breakdown volt- PIN- PKG age allows rail-to-rail analog signal capability.
