The MAX31865ATP+T is an Analog Devices specialized RTD to Digital Converter that is designed to take a remote temperature rheostat (RTD) and convert it to a digital output. The device features an onboard low-noise, low-drift amplifier that amplifies and filters the small signal generated by the RTD input. It then utilizes differential analog-to-digital conversion to determine the temperature across the RTD.
