Evaluates: MAX9939 19-4407 Rev 0 1/09 MAX9939 Evaluation Kit General Description Features The MAX9939 evaluation kit (EV kit) is a fully assembled Powered Directly from a USB Port and tested surface-mount PCB that evaluates the On-Board Microcontroller to Generate SPI MAX9939 SPI-programmable gain amplifier (PGA). Its Commands internal op amp is configured as a multiple-feedback active filter by default, but can also be reconfigured so Easy-to-Use, Menu-Driven Software the MAX9939 operates as a differential-input, differen- Surface-Mount Components tial-output programmable gain amplifier. The EV kit fea- tures an on-board microcontroller, which receives Lead(Pb)-Free and RoHS Compliant commands from a PC through the USB port. The EV kit Fully Assembled and Tested can be powered directly from the USB bus or from a single-supply voltage of 2.9V to 5.5V. The EV kit also includes Windows 2000/XP- and Ordering Information Windows Vista -compatible software that provides a PART TYPE simple user interface for exercising the MAX9939 fea- tures. The program is menu driven and offers a graphical MAX9939EVKIT+ EV Kit user interface (GUI) complete with control buttons and +Denotes lead(Pb)-free and RoHS compliant status displays. The GUI demonstrates the programma- ble gains from 0.2V/V to 157V/V and the input offset volt- age compensation features of the MAX9939 IC.
