This module is designed to facilitate the connection between Ethernet networks and RS485 networks. It allows devices to send and receive data over the Ethernet network and makes communication between devices on different networks much more efficient than using RS485 alone.The AR252/RS485 module supports two-way communication, allowing up to 32 nodes to take part in a single session. It also supports IPv4 and IPv6 protocols, providing a secure tunnel for communication between devices. Additionally, the module can detect errors in the communication and alert users if necessary.
