The Arduino Motor Shield Rev3 (Retail) is a specialized board that allows Arduino-enabled microcontrollers to control a variety of motors and servos. This version of the Motor Shield is designed to work within 5V to 24V and is able to drive up to four DC motors with individual 8-bit speed and direction control, or drive two stepper motors with single- or double-step control.
In addition to the motor/servo control features, the board includes a variety of I/O channels including four analog input and six digital PWM output, allowing it to be connected to other features of an Arduino-based project, such as lights, sound, temperature, and more.
The Motor Shield Rev3 is the perfect solution for adding motor control to Arduino-based projects, and its easily expandable, allowing more advanced applications to be possible with the addition of other devices and sensors.
