The Brainboxes SW-705 is a hardened industrial five port Ethernet switch that can automatically detect and configure speed and duplex. It supports both 10 Base-T and 100Base-TX networks, and includes one twisted pair Gigabit Ethernet port. This switch allows for five twisted pair connections from a single, customer-supplied, external 24V DC power source. It has a robust metal DIN rail enclosure capable of operating in extreme environmental conditions and an operating temperature range of -20° to +70°C. It includes an advanced network security suite that includes Port/MAC address filtering, access lists, and an integrated firewall. The integration of a built-in Routing Protocols such as Static Routing, RIP and OSPF allows for improved network performance. Additionally, it features redundant power inputs, removable terminal blocks, and a variety of simple network management options such as SNMP, Telnet-based access, web page access, and Syslog server access.
