ASMT-UWB1-NX3H2 is a Broadcom Bluetooth 5.2 radio solution for short-range, low-power consumer electronics and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It is an ultra-wideband (UWB) multi-protocol system-on-chip (SoC) that provides the highest level of integration and performance, while using less energy than other solutions. It is designed to support the IEEE 802.15.4z standard and is compatible with both the Bluetooth low-energy standard and the Bluetooth 5.0 standard. ASMT-UWB1-NX3H2 includes a 16-bit low-power microcontroller that provides low-latency and real-time operation with hardware accelerators for enhanced performance. It also includes an integrated IEEE 802.15.4z MAC and PHY layer, supporting various modulation and coding bandwidths. It also supports multiple application protocols, including Thread, ZigBee, Bluetooth Mesh, OpenThread, and ThreadMesh. This part of Broadcom also provides enhanced features like AES-CCM encryption, angle-of-arrival (AoA) measurement, and frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar processing.
