The Broadcom HCPL-0631-500E is a logic output optoisolator with a 10MBd open collector, Schottky clamped 3750Vrms, 2-channel 10kV/µs CMTI, and 8-SO tall package. This optoisolator is designed to provide electrical isolation between different circuits connected to it, protecting them from electrical surges and interference from nearby components. It is optimal for interfacing between low voltage and high voltage CAN and LIN circuits. Features include a low power consumption and fast switching speed with a maximum rise/fall time of 400ns. This optoisolator is capable of up to 10MBd communication rates and is rated for up to 3750Vrms dielectric strength, with 10kV/µs of Common Mode Transient Immunity on both channels.
