Additional Infomation About Product

The Broadcom HCPL-2531-500E is an optoisolator transistor output IC with a 3750Vrms rating. It has two channels and comes in an 8-DIP (dual inline package) with gull wing leads. It has an input current of 100mA and a collector current of 150mA. This IC is ideal for optically isolated, high-voltage applications, such as gate drives in motor control. Its high voltage is designed to minimize external component count and make it easier to interface with high voltage circuits. It has a wide common mode range of up to 3750Vrms, allowing it to be used in high voltage systems. This IC also features short circuit detection, temperature sensing, and other protective functions that ensure reliable operation.
