The HCPL-2602-000E is a high-speed optocoupler manufactured by Broadcom. This optocoupler is used to isolate data and signals between two circuits reliably at high speeds. The device consists of an infrared LED coupled to a specially designed silicon phototransistor housed in a slim 9-pin dual-in-line package. It is capable of operating over a wide input range of 4.5 to 7V and offers up to 5 mA of output current at a maximum power dissipation of 600 mW. This optocoupler also offers a very high speed of 15 kbps, making it suitable for high-speed signal transfer applications.
