Additional Infomation About Product

The HCPL-M453-500E is a high speed optocoupler manufactured by Broadcom. It is designed for use in high speed applications such as motor control, power supplies, and DC line isolation. It is an optically-isolated gate driver optocoupler, utilizing an AlGaAs infrared LED and an integrated high gain photodetector IC to achieve a 1MBd transfer rate with 3750Vdc isolation voltage. It is housed in a small SMD package, with a minimum isolation between the input and output channels. The optocoupler provides reliable protection from input-to-output transients and EFT/ESD pulses, as well as high common-mode noise rejection better than 50dB. The optocoupler is available in both standard and surface mount packages, making it an ideal choice for space-constrained designs.
