The Climate Change Initiative (CCI) provides global-scale data sets of in situ and satellite observations, as well as climate reanalyses, to enable consistent estimates of climate change on local, regional and global scales. The CCI10 project focuses on providing global-scale data sets at 10km resolution, providing new insights into climate change. The CCI10 data sets provide information on temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, total cloud cover, and surface pressure, in conjunction with the Copernicus Services, such as the Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) and the Climate Change Initiative (CCI). The CCI10 data sets are made available for scientific research, operations and decision-making, and bring a new level of information regarding the Earth’s climate.
