The SMCJ160CA high-power transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode, manufactured by Changjing Electronics Technology, is a two-terminal surface-mount device designed to protect sensitive circuit components from over-voltage or over-current transients. This RoHS-compliant TVS is rated to handle continuous operating voltages of up to 160V, with a peak pulse power rating of 600W. It is ideal for protection from transients generated by inductive loads such as motors, relays, solenoids, and electric discharge machines, as well as lightning, AC power surges, and electrostatic discharge events.
