CS4220 CS4221 24-Bit Stereo Audio Codec with 3V Interface Features Description The CS4220/1 is a highly integrated, high performance, l100 dB Dynamic Range A/D Converters 24-bit, audio codec providing stereo analog-to-digital l100 dB Dynamic Range D/A Converters and stereo digital-to-analog converters using delta-sig- l105 dB DAC Signal-to-Noise Ratio (EIAJ) ma conversion techniques. The device operates from a lAnalog Volume Control (CS4221 only) single +5 V power supply, and features low power con- sumption. Selectable de-emphasis filter for 32, 44.1, and lDifferential Inputs / Outputs 48 kHz sample rates is also included. lOn-chip Anti-aliasing and Output Smoothing The CS4221 also includes an analog volume control ca- Filters pable of 113.5dB attenuation in 0.5dB steps. The lDe-emphasis for 32, 44.1 and 48 kHz analog volume control architecture preserves dynamic lSupports Master and Slave Modes range during attenuation.
