The WM8758CBGEFL/RV is a Compact Audio Codec IC which is designed by Cirrus Logic. It is a 32-pin QFN package RoHS compliant product. This IC is ideal for providing superior sound quality for portable multimedia players such as mobile phones, media players and personal navigation devices. The WM8758CBGEFL/RV is a full featured Hi-Fi stereo codec with two analog inputs and two digital outputs, allowing CD-quality playback of the digitized data. This codec includes digital audio serial interface, advanced clock management, a stereo headphone amplifier, and dedicated microphone amplifier. It features very low power consumption, and simplified signal routing, only requiring a single external clock source, for power savings and improved sound quality. This digital audio codec also provides user-adjustable functions, such as headphone-level attenuation, volume control, and seperate line-out and headphone mute.
