This model, ES-U-1001, provides a simple method of adapting legacy serial devices with RS232 interfaces to modern USB ports by incorporating the FTDI FT232R bridge chip. This cable is available in two lengths 10cm (ES-U-1001-R10) and 100cm (ES-U-1001- R100).
