The DL28 is an electronic part manufactured by DECODE, consisting of a processor and network extension. It operates in a voltage range of 18÷36VDC and a power of 5W and features a DIN mounting. It is designed for industrial automation applications and it allows users to establish a secure connection over two LAN networks. The DL28 features two Fast Ethernet ports, one isolated serial port, and a local user port with web-based administration and diagnostics. It also has advanced security features such as Network Address Translation (NAT), Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) Firewall, and an optional IPsec VPN service. Furthermore, the DL28 can be used as a Network Address Translation (NAT) gateway, allowing users to gain access to remote devices, such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
