74LVCH245A OCTAL BUS TRANSCEIVER WITH BUS HOLD / 3 STATE OUTPUTS Description Pin Assignments The 74LVCH245A is an octal transceiver designed for asynchronous communication between data buses. The device transmits data from the A bus to the B bus or from the B bus to the A bus, depending on the logic level at the direction-control (DIR) input. The output-enable (OE) pin can be used to disable the device so the buses effectively are isolated. The device is designed for operation with a power supply range of 1.65V to 3.6V. The inputs are tolerant to 5.5V allowing this device to be used in a mixed voltage environment. The device is fully specified for partial power down applications using I .
