The 1.5KE300A is a bi-directional unidirectional Thyristor Transient Voltage Suppressor from Diotec Semiconductor. This transistor is designed to provide protection from high transient voltages, and it is well suited for applications such as motor control, switched-mode power supplies, telecommunications circuitry and power conditioners. The 1.5KE300A has a peak repetitive surge current of 300A and can be used for transients up to 600V. Additionally, this component has a low on-state voltage drop, excellent clamping capability and fast response time.
