DataSheeT enpirion power solutions EP5358xUA 600mA PowerSoC Step-Down DC-DC Switching Converter with Integrated Inductor DESCRIPTION FEATURES Integrated Inductor Technology The EP5358LUA and EP5358HUA are 600mA PowerSoCs that are AEC-Q100 qualified for -40C to +85C Ambient Temperature Range automotive applications. The EP5358xUA (x = L or H) 2.5mm x 2.25mm x 1.1mm uQFN Package is rated for up to 600mA of continuous output Total Solution Footprint 14mm2 current. The EP5358xUA integrates MOSFET Low VOUT Ripple for RF Compatibility switches, control, compensation, and the magnetics High Efficiency, Up to 93% in an advanced 2.5mm x 2.25mm micro-QFN Package. Up to 600mA Continuous Output Current 5 MHz Switching Frequency Integrated magnetics enables a tiny solution footprint, low output ripple, low part-count, and high 3 pin VID for Glitch Free Voltage Scaling reliability, while maintaining high efficiency. The VOUT Range 0.6V to VIN 0.25V complete solution can be implemented in as little as Short Circuit and Over Current Protection 2 14mm . UVLO and Thermal Protection The EP5358xUA uses a 3-pin VID to easily select the IC Level Reliability in a PowerSOC Solution output voltage setting. Output voltage settings are available in 2 optimized ranges providing coverage APPLICATIONS for typical V settings. OUT Automotive Applications The VID pins can be changed on the fly for fast Wireless and RF Applications dynamic voltage scaling. EP5358LUA further has the Small Form Factor Optical Modules option to use an external voltage divider.
