The ES8388 is a 22.5792 MHz audio stereo Codec IC with a QFN-28 RoHS package manufactured by Everest Semiconductor. It offers three stereo ADC inputs for audio mixing, up/down-sampling and mixing, and receives audio signals from a source with an analog or digital PCM interface. The ES8388 also supports a full range of audio processing features, including audio mixing, mixing, filtering, multi-band loudness and compression, and 3D sound field-effect processing. Additionally, the device integrates a fully programmable earphone and line driver for external headphone and headset amplifier connections. The interface also includes support for I2C, SPI and UART control buses and supports audio exchange and control with other devices, including microcontrollers. It is RoHS compliant and is designed for a wide range of audio applications.
