The optocoupler is a photocoupler which contains two independent Gallium Arsenide Infrared Emitting Diode (GaAIr), and a photosensitive Silicon Controlled Rectifier (SCR) integrated circuit. The EL6N136 offers high input and low output noise immunity, high output voltage, and low propagation time. The device is commonly used for interfacing and isolating two different circuits by converting electrical signals into optical signals.
