The PT928-6C-F(6-1) is an Infrared Receivers Through Hole RoHS manufactured by Everlight. It is a semi-conductor device used for the detection of infrared light signals, such as those used in remote control applications. It consists of an infrared-sensitive photodiode, which is sensitive to wavelengths between 850nm and 950nm, and an integrated preamplifier with on-chip filter circuitry. It has a low turn-on current and is designed to directly drive low power LEDs.
