ASO-202 is a part of the F&F Program, which is a nationwide program designed to help youths, adults, and families in the United States identify and address signs of distress,especially in communities disproportionally impacted by violence. The program promotes proactive strategies and strategies that bring local organizations, community members, and first responders together to share resources, develop partnerships, and provide support services. ASO-202 focuses on providing direct clinical intervention by helping to connect those affected by violence, including past and present victims of crimes and those with mental health challenges, with services and resources needed to create positive personal, family and community change. This includes screenings, referrals to mental health services, case management, psychoeducation, and advocacy.
