The HGSEMI HG7500BM/TR is a switching controller in a Small Outline Package (SOP-16) package that is RoHS compliant. It is designed to provide logic control and power distribution in switching power supplies, utility meters, digital detectors, communications gear, and other electronic applications. The unit has a low on-resistance of 0.6 milliohm, low RDS(ON), and operates from a 4.5V to 30V operating range. It has a ±5% reference accuracy, integrated current sense, thermal shutdown, and over-temperature protection. The HG7500BM/TR also has a wide switching frequency range from 350kHz to 2MHz, and can achieve efficiencies as high as 94%.
