The TL494N with Switching Controllers DIP-16 RoHS manufactured by HTC Korea is a Pulse-Width Modulation control circuit designed to provide the necessary control of a switch mode power supply, motor speed control, lamp dimming control, etc. It features two error amplifiers, on-chip oscillator with an external resistor for frequency adjustment, an internal comparator to monitor both current-limit and voltage reference, one output stage with 15 watts peak, one output stage with 10 watts peak, over-voltage protection, and pulse-width modulation control. The TL494N is also RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) compliant and is provided in a 16-pin DIP (dual in-package) thermal efficient package.
